175 years of faith
St. Augustine is 175 years old this year. In 1843 the Rev. Patrick O' Kelley established the original church Sts. Peter and Paul with 13 Irish families. The Gothic Rival Church we have now was named St. Augustine and replaced the original wooden structure in 1895.
